The Power of Release

Elizabeth Claire Prophet’s Divine Self Illustration
The 11th quality (or power) required for us to achieve higher consciousness is RELEASE. Once more study the illustration of our Divine Self. The bottom figure, depicting you as a human being living on the physical plane, is enfolded in purple light (or energy)---the Purple Transmuting Flame. Just as a physical plane fire burns away the dross within gold, so the Purple Transmuting Flame will burn (or transmute) our mistakes if we so desire. Purple is a higher vibratory fire than a physical plane fire. We expect a physical fire to harm us ... the purple fire can become our best friend. Instead of creating pain, it feels comforting. The purple transmuting flame is God's grace available to you whenever you choose to use it.
Truly understanding the quality of release is an intuitive process. The intellect bucks the concept of an invisible flame (invisible only to those who have not yet developed their clairvoyant talents). For in order to release, we have to let go on invisible levels---the emotional and mental levels.
Quoting TWELVE POWERS IN YOU: "RELEASE is my ability to give a 'no, thank you' response to the untrue, undesirable, or worn-out. It is my ability to forgive, free myself, break bad habits, not be controlled, and let go. Release uses the 'vacuum principle' by letting go of mental and physical 'stuff,' so that God has space and place to be realized. What is released may not be 'bad' but it needs to be eliminated and replaced with something better."
The quality of release is extremely important and one that many misunderstand. It is not sufficient to say, "God, forgive me." God gave each of us the gift of freewill and that gift cannot be revoked. The decisions to err on our path do not impact God; they impact us. God has nothing to forgive, for God's Universal Law states that ALL IS GOOD.
When we commit acts or speak words that are harmful to others, we create a dark energy around us. Imagine pockets of dark energy hovering within the purple flame enfolding you in the illustration of your Divine Self. Those pockets of dark energy remain in place until we---of our own freewill choice---release them to be transmuted into the energy of pure love. God does not revoke our freewill and transmute the darkness; we must make the choice and RELEASE it. Until we do so, the negativity within our energy field holds us within the lower planes of consciousness. No negativity can move into the heaven of higher consciousness. This is why the Greatest Commandment of all is: "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, and with all of your mind, and with all of your soul, and with all of your strength." Unless we fulfill the Greatest Commandment by releasing all negativity within our energy field (or aura), we cannot love God with our entire being.
Jesus told the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant in Matthew 18:23-34. In it, one of the King's slaves asked for forgiveness of a debt he could not pay. The King had mercy and forgave him. The slave was later approached by one of his fellow slaves who requested forgiveness of his debt. The forgiven slave refused to forgive his fellow slave and instead, threw him in prison. When the King heard this, he responded: "You wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you? And in anger his lord handed him over to be tortured until he would pay his entire debt. So my heavenly Father will also do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother or sister from your heart."
This parable depicts God as One who tortures, which is a red flag to look deeper for the true meaning. A God of absolute Love does not torture! So what is the parable really saying?
Once more, study the Divine Self Illustration ... Every act or word that has caused harm to others remains in our energy field until we choose to release it. Only when we release all negativity can we move forward into higher consciousness. The torture becomes our inability to move forward into the planes of joy, unconditional love, and peace. We are left behind until our "entire debt" is paid or released. To be left behind ... to be filled with regrets ... to harbor pockets of dark, painful energy is the result of our own choice. IT IS NEVER GOD PUNISHING US. Instead, we are enfolded by the purple transmuting flame and we have the gift of freewill to release---all failures to forgive, all resentment, all anger, all jealousy ............. all negativity---at whatever point we choose to do so. God knows Who We Really Are---a child god. Nevertheless, we have to make our own choice to move forward on the path to evolving into greater and greater expression of our god-likenss.
That's why Jesus taught us to pray: Forgive us our debts as we forgive others. We are praying to God as manifested within the transmuting flame. As we seek to forgive others, the Purple Flame transmutes our pockets of dark energy into Love. OUR DEBTS ARE FORGIVEN (TRANSMUTED BY THE FLAME) BECAUSE WE HAVE FORGIVEN OTHERS. Had we chosen not to forgive others, we would still have pockets of dark energy in our aura that will hold us to physical plane consciousness until we have "paid the entire debt." An illustration can be helpful.
This illustration was taken from: THOUGHT-FORMS, by Annie Besant & C.W. Leadbeater This illustration is an example of an outburst of anger within the aura of an individual as seen by a clairvoyant.
The longer we cling to our anger, the denser the energy pocket becomes until it finally manifests as a physical ailment ... another example of the "torture" failure to forgive and release creates. God does not torture; we torture ourselves!
Thus, the extreme importance of developing our power to release! Failure to do so adversely impacts the positive manifestation of all of our remaining 11 powers. As Matthew 18:34 states: "to be tortured until he would pay his entire debt." Until release of all negativity occurs, we continue to torture ourselves via the pockets of dark energy within our aura. We are held in a hell of our own making.
I have the power to free myself and others.
I do not hold onto that which holds me back. I release it and I am free to progress and prosper.
I release beliefs and attitudes that no longer serve a constructive purpose for me. I make room for growth.
I let go of "toxic" ways of thinking and behaving. I am now free to be more peaceful, healthy, and successful.
I recognize old patterns and behaviors that hold me back and I joyously let them go.
I let go and let God!!!
