“Colour is Nature's own powerful signalling system - the universal,
non-verbal language. Scientifically, it is the first thing we register
when we are assessing anything… Colour is energy and the fact that it has
a physical effect on us has been proved time and again in experiments -
most notably when blind people were asked to identify colours with their fingertips and were all able to do so easily…. The colours of the interior
environment wherein we live or work affect us in just the same way as
those in the natural world always did. The colours that people wear still
send out clear signals that we can all read accurately…. In many ways,
colour and music work the same way (and both are underpinned by
Eating Well By Color
We “can get what our body need just by eating a colorful variety of fruits and vegetables. Nature has found a clever way to highlight the nutrients in foods: different nutrients actually impart different colors to the foods they’re in. For instance, the anthocyanins that turn blueberries blue can also keep your mind sharp, the lycopene that turns watermelon and tomatoes red may also help protect against prostate and breast cancers, and the beta carotene that makes carrots and sweet potatoes orange can help keep your bones strong, your eyes healthy and boost your immune system. http://www.eatingwell.com/food_news_origins/seasonal_local/eatingwell_in_season/eating_well_by_color
“Each of the twelve [zodiac] signs emits its own individual sound and radiates its own individual color…. The response or affinity of each individual spirit to the varying degrees of tone and color, as emanated by the birth signs, indicates the native’s evolutionary status. This fact also aids adaptability or susceptibility of healing through music and color.” (Corrine Heline, Healing & Regeneration Through Color)
EATING CHAKRA COLORS? CHAKRAS SAY CHEESE! Kaitlyn Keyt http://vibesup.com/ Paintings inserted by Nancy
Another way ancient wisdom has been validated through the lens of modern technology
is machines that can literally take pictures of and reveal that yes indeed we do
have chakras which are the different energy centers of our bodies, even what size
and color they are. Think of them as energy processing plants. When we take in energy it is distributed
to the different processing plants (chakras) and then used to assist in that area of
our body and lives.
There are many ways to help nourish and balance these centers. So far the most
effective I have seen is to have your feet connected to earth energy, whether it's
barefoot on the earth or standing on VibesUP real earth energy, I have seen chakras
completely balance and the aura (field of energy around the body) turn white in less
than 4 min. White contains all the colors in the spectrum and makes sense why it is
the color of our aura when our chakras are balanced.
LESSON FROM JUICE:
Besides having our feet directly connected to earth energy, other ways we can assist
these important centers is to literally consume the foods that help with each
chakra. I had this yummy ah ha as I was looking into the beautiful colors swirling together
from my freshly juiced fruits and veggies. I felt that it was not just the abundant
nutrition but also the colors themselves that my body would benefit from.
FOOD AS ENERGY MEDICINE?
Then I thought, if we are conscious of this, the color choices of our food can
literally be our energy medicine. For example if your second chakra (Orange) lower
abdominal area, is weak and out of balance which is very common for women, we can
consume more of the foods in the color orange; carrots oranges, yams etc. For the
heart chakra greens are the perfect healing vibe. And so on.
SPYING ON PLATES:
You may enjoy opening your awareness and observing how much color people consume.
(Not counting dyed foods) it may also surprise you to notice how often people
consume plates of food with little to no vibrant colors. Once you have this
awareness, you can never go back. Eating vibrant colors will be much more of a
delight and important part of your food choices.
WHAT COLORS DO YOU CHEW'z?
Needing to ground? How about some red food for your root chakra? Raspberries, beets,
red bell peppers...Or Dark brown could be considered deep red... Hmm oh
yah!..,sounds like that could be chocolate! Wanting more intuition? How about some
purple for your third eye area! Have fun with your food colors and know that you can
chew and sip your way to more vibrant balanced chakras, a delicious way to tune into
the benefits of your choice! Your choices create YOU!
Color Me Beautiful was popular for a while, then, seemed to disappear. However, the concepts behind this movement continue to be valid. The obvious enhancing of facial color and sense of physical presence when the correct color is placed under the chin is real. I have seen many demonstrations at close range. This video will show you how to select the correct colors for your well- being and self-esteem. When we know we look good, we have more self-confidence! We come alive!
Testimony #1 - Most of my early teenage and young adult years I felt like a little mousy librarian (no insult intended to librarians) but this is the way I described myself, thick glasses and all. Deep down inside I knew better, I knew a strong, vibrant woman resided inside my soul.
Remembering a portrait, I, my husband and daughter had made together, brought into view the importance of presenting oneself as the person you know you are. My husband glowed in his blue suit, white shirt and beautiful tie; my daughter and I looked washed out and colorless.
This portrait distressed me but I did not know why. A few years later I decided to take the Color Me Beautiful course in color coding. Here I learned why I felt so drab most of my life.
I am a Winter—I needed to wear bright, vibrant colors. My husband was a Summer—the reason he looked so good in the portrait with his light blue suit. My beautiful daughter is a Summer. My daughter and I had on Autumn colors, thus we looked washed out and drab. Our outgoing, funny personalities were completely hidden in the portrait.
Since wearing my true Colors, I have been told I command attention when I walk into a room...no longer “the mousy librarian”... now a woman with confidence!
Testimony #2 - I first learned of the vibratory frequency in colors while attending a Spiritual Frontiers Conference. I attended a workshop on Color, simply because colors have always fascinated me—I like to mix them in unusual ways. During the workshop, the leader had us close our eyes while she placed a small fabric square in our hand. She then asked us to keep our eyes closed … focus on the fabric … and “feel” its color. I was amazed to find that color really can be determined in this way.
How? Because each color possesses its own vibratory frequency. Whether we are consciously aware of it or not, each color impacts us in a unique way. Whereas an Autumn can feel warm, vibrant, and comfortable wearing orange and brown, a Winter would be bleached out and sink into the background.
Spring, Summer, and Winter have a light blue color in their packet of colors; however, as what I call a “Drastic Winter,” I feel less self-confident when wearing a Spring or Summer light blue. I feel faded and insignificant.. On the other hand, wearing the pure light azure blue of Winter gives me a feeling of joy;I know I look good when wearing this blue! It’s as if someone paid me a very nice compliment and my self-confidence soars!
