The Power of Wisdom

The 3rd quality required for us to achieve higher consciousness is WISDOM. Wisdom is your ability to discern, evaluate, and make decisions. Every day is judgment day. Heaven and hell are not places we go after death; they are states of mind that we create by the decisions we make in the courtroom of our mind. (Twelve Powers In You)
Quoting Fillmore: "Wisdom is of the Spirit.... Jesus always listened for the 'inner voice' and was obedient to it.... Spiritual discernment always places wisdom above the other faculties of the mind. It is pure knowing, and comes by kindling the inner light. The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable."
The Divine Self (Elizabeth Claire Prophet)
Refer to the illustration of your Divine Self above. Wisdom flows from God within you (the top figure of the illustration) >>> through the Higher, Intuitive Mind (the 2nd figure) >>> and into your conscious mind. It is helpful to use this illustration when requesting guidance or insights from God within you. Envision God's words flowing down the stream of white light >>> through your Intuitive Mind >>> and into your conscious awareness. To keep your intuitive insights clean, write the words down the minute they pop into your mind! DO NOT CENSURE THEM! WRITE THEM DOWN! Once you have written down the words, you can evaluate them and discern for yourself whether or not you choose to follow through on your intuitive insights. Unless you immediately write down your insights, without censure, your first response will be to talk yourself out of listening ... Oh, no, that doesn't make sense! ... I can't do that! ... People will think I am crazy! ... That's not practical!
Another reason for immediately writing down your insights (preferably in your private journal) is that you can check back later and ascertain their accuracy. How many times have you wished you had following through on your intuition? The outcome of your intuitive insight is your judgment day---did I follow my insight and feel thankful that I did? OR ... did I ignore my intuitive insight and regret doing so?
The more you seek guidance through God within you, the more comfortable you will feel following your intuitive insights without hesitation. For example: You hear the words in your head "Turn left" ... you had not planned go left, but do so anyway in accordance with your intuition. Later you learn you avoided being one more car involved in a multiple car pile-up.
A WARNING IS IN ORDER. Here, again, I very strongly encourage you to meditate regularly on your Divine Self illustration. Always seek answers from God within you. Always know yourself ... what influence does your ego have upon your decisions? ... what personal buttons do you attempt to avoid being pushed by your decisions? Recognize this self-knowledge ... deliberately---in your mind---place this knowledge on an imaginary table ... then return to your un-censured intuitive insights and seek to listen to the guidance from God within.
Many people fail to do this and end up with information tainted with their own ego needs and predispositions. We see this frequently, especially in those who are operating unconsciously on the ego level. It is up to each us to develop the intuitive art of discernment and to regularly observe our own responses. We must learn to think independently in relationship to God within.
Jesus taught his disciples to follow his example in seeking divine guidance. "I declare what I have seen in the Father's presence [during prayer and meditation]; AS FOR YOU, YOU SHOULD DO WHAT YOU HAVE HEARD FROM THE FATHER. John 8:38
As we do so, we develop the quality of WISDOM. We learn to stand as the physical person in the Divine Self illustration ... independent of all physical plane influences ... listening only to the insights flowing from God within >>> through the stream of white light >>> and into our conscious minds.
Hereby, we keep the 1st and Greatest Commandment: "Love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, and with all of your mind, and with all of your soul, and with all of your strength." THE RESULTING WISDOM guides us in fulfilling the 2nd Commandment: "Love thy neighbor as thyself."
WISDOM manifests in our physical plane lives in the shape of a triangle: Love God, Love Self, & Love Neighbor. AMEN ... AND SO IT IS!
